Rotary Youth Exchange students spend 11 months in another culture. Marguerita Maroni, known as Maggie, spent those last 11 months in the Rock Falls area experiencing what American life as a teenager is like and perfecting her English language while here. Rock Falls Rotary hosted her as a student at Rock Falls High School, but it was the three families who welcomed her into their homes to have her experience the American midwestern lifestyle. The Farewell was bitter sweet, as she said, "Goodbye, until we meet again" to members of the club and her host family members to return to her family in Italy.
