Rock Falls Rotary Supports L.I.F.E.

Pam Martinez (left) from United Way shares with Pam Erby (right), President of Rock Falls Rotary, one of 60 books that children in Whiteside County may receive through the mail, thanks to the program of Dolly Parton Imagination Library known as L.I.F.E. (Literacy is Fun(damental) for Everyone). Rock Falls Rotary is collecting money throughout the month of June for L.I.F.E. Books are now sent to more than 1200 children in Whiteside County for the first five years of their life at a cost annually of $35,000.  Contributions to support LIFE may be sent to United Way, P.O. Box 806, Sterling, IL 61081.
