Rock Falls Rotary Welcomes Italian Short-term Rotary Student

Rock Falls Rotary President-Elect, Jim Geer (far right) exchanged the Rotary district banner of the Rock Falls Rotary Club with Allegra, the short term Rotary student's  Rotary district in Verona, Italy.  Allegra is staying for a month in Morrison with the Stan Steines family (left to right) Stan Steines, Deb Milder, Madison Steines, and  Allegra.  Short term exchange is a 3 - 4 week actual exchange between two students.  Madison had enjoyed July in Italy, and Allegra is now enjoying her first visit to the USA in Illinois.  Rock Falls Rotarians heard about the Short Term exchange program available to students who wish to travel, but not to spend a full year out of the USA.
