Rotarians present Dictionaries for Literacy
Linda Murray, Rock Falls Rotary Club member, presents to her grandson, Landon Vondra, a third grade student at St. Andrew Elementary School, a dictionary as a gift to promote literacy skills. Every third grade student and teacher of third grade in Rock Falls Elementary schools of St. Andrew, East Coloma-Nelson, Rock Falls Elementary, Montmorency, and Thome Schools were presented an age-appropriate dictionary by a Rock Falls Rotarian. More than 200 dictionaries were presented in this promotion to improve skills in reading, writing, and communication in our Rock Falls schools by the Rock Falls Rotary Club.
