Three Rock Falls Rotarians Celebrate World Polio Day at Rotary International

Among the more than 30 Rotarians from District 6420 who visited Rotary Inrternational Headquarters in Evanston on October 23 were three Rock Falls Rotarians: (left to right) Betty Clementz, District Secretary; Julie Logan, President; and Pam Erby, Immediate Past President.  A tour of the headquarters with a special update for World Polio Day was the agenda, as the three Rotarians are indicating with the gesture:  "We are this close to eradication of polio."  World Polio Day, 2015 was celebrated Saturday, October 24.  Rock Falls Rotary is collecting funds for this final thrust with canisters located in local businesses.   Donations may also be sent to Rock Falls Rotary, PO Box 902, Rock Falls, IL 61071.
